WHEATBIOME Clustering

Other initiatives in which WHEATBIOME participates

WHEATBIOME is a part of a cluster of EU funded projects under the joint name Microbes4SustainableFoods (M4SF). The founding members of this cluster includes the following projects: WHEATBIOME, DOMINO, TRIBIOME, HEALTHFERM  and PIMENTO Cost Action. In October 2024, two new projects joined the cluster as associated members: MICROBIOMES4SOY and MICROBE. Together, these projects share a commitment to advance sustainable food systems, health and environmental resilience through the study of microbiomes along food system value chains.

WHEATBIOME is featured among the Associated Projects & Initiatives of the MicrobiomeSupport Association, a European platform dedicated to advancing microbiome science and its translation into practical applications for sustainable food systems and human health. Through this association, WHEATBIOME contributes to fostering cross-project collaboration, expanding microbiome literacy, and bridging knowledge gaps between research, innovation, and policy. This connection reinforces our commitment to supporting the transition towards resilient, microbiome-informed food value chains in line with the One Health approach.
